Tallyn Bryant was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of April 15.
A junior at South High, Bryant is very involved. She is a member of the National Honor Society, and South’s Anime, Manga and Video Games Club (AMV). As a drama club member, she has been on the cast of two musicals, “Seussical the Musical” and “Shrek.”
Bryant is also involved in Literacy for Life, a South High club that reads books and holds literary discussions.
The nominating committee said they selected her because she is a stellar example of South’s HERD values.
South High assistant principal Jennifer Brownhill said, “Tallyn is responsible and determined to do all she can to squeeze the learning out of her classes. We are excited to have her represent South High.”
When Bryant graduates next year, she plans to attend both the University of Wyoming and then Western Washington University to become a marine biologist.
In addition, Bryant would like to work as a therapist and be able to help people in that manner.
