$1.7 Million Dry Creek Sewer Main Project
Starting on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities (Board) will start a $1.7 million sewer main rehabitation project.
This two-phased project aims to clean and install a sewer pipe liner in over 1.3 miles of sewer mains over the next two months along Dry Creek from Yellowstone Rd. to Powerhouse Rd. Phase one will start staging the equipment on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the Mylar Park parking lot.
This project will advance sewer service reliability for the area and is part of the Board’s initiative to accelerate the renewal of sewer infrastructure and reduce storm water and/or groundwater seeping into manholes. Work will be completed by Mechanical Systems Inc. Sewer services should not be affected by the project. Most of the project will occur adjacent to the greenway but access to the greenway will remain open for the duration of the project.
