$270K to Support Senior Independence
The Cheyenne Regional Foundation is focused on raising $270,000 to support the Wyoming PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). Annually the foundation selects a worthy cause to support healthcare in Laramie County. This year’s campaign is focused on providing senior citizens the opportunity to have a purpose each day.
“The program is for seniors 55 or older that are living in the community who wish to remain living independently in their home.” shared Alicia MacAthur, Cheyenne Regional Social Worker.
Wyoming PACE will be moving into a new Cheyenne building to expand (800 E 20th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001). This relocation requires additional investment in equipment, materials in order to provide the best care for the senior citizens in Wyoming PACE. Therefore the Cheyenne Regional Foundation is raising the necessary funds to support this endeavor.
Those who want to support this campaign can by providing a donation the Cheyenne Regional Foundation or attend upcoming events like the “Western Connection.” Celebrate the hospital’s rich western heritage & the 150th Anniversary of Community Healthcare in Cheyenne with an evening of western-themed food, fun and live entertainment on June 10th. Even participate in a fun crowdfunding event July 11th through the 13th give65.org.
