The Greater Cheyenne Foundation released the survey to cast your vote for your favorite Christmas Parade theme for this year’s Cheyenne Christmas Parade.
Annually the public has the chance to select the holiday tradition’s theme. The theme sets the tone for participants, inspires float decor, as well as other holiday festivities throughout the community. In recent years the themes have includes; Trains, Planes and Automobiles, Rock Around the Christmas Tree, Christmas Magic and many others. This year you can select from the following themes or even submit your own idea!
- Christmas in the Old West: We all know Santa really wears a cowboy hat!
- Christmas Movies: Your take on your favorite Christmas movie
- Hawaiian Christmas: Bring the tropics to Cheyenne
- The Music of Christmas: Celebrate your favorite Christmas carols
- The Night Before Christmas: Your twist on Christmas
- O’ Christmas Tree: All about the trees of Christmas
- Old Fashion Christmas: Celebrate your favorite traditions of the season
- White Christmas/Winter Wonderland: Celebrate nature’s beauty of Christmas
The 2019 Cheyenne Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, November 30th in Downtown Cheyenne. More details will become available regarding the event in the coming months after a theme is selected. Information as it develops will be listed at CheyenneChristmasParade.com.
