Honoring Wyoming Women

The Wyoming Business Report’s Women of Influence Awards and Connect to Women have united to expand existing events honoring Wyoming women.

The event will be held in Cheyenne at the Radisson Hotel August 24-25.

This unique event will honor Wyoming women, their accomplishments and recognize exceptional leadership in the following categories and industries:  Lifetime Achievement Award, Banking and Finance, Business and Business Services, Education, Energy & Utilities, Government, Military, or Law, Health Care, Hospitality, Manufacturing/Technology, and Nonprofit.

This year, we have added two new categories:  Best Mentor (male or female) and Best Place to Work.

We’re excited to announce that Debra Benton will serve as this year’s keynote speaker. Benton is a sought-after facilitator and author of more than ten books on the topic of leadership. Thursday evening, Benton will share her passion to help people take ownership of their career potential.

Friday morning, August 25, our breakfast keynote will feature Deb Degner of ‘Your Leadership Bridge’. Degner will kick-off Friday’s seminar with a talk on the importance of leading through an energetic presence.

Both Benton and Degner will offer professional development workshops on Friday morning, in addition to other panels and workshops.

The event will culminate with the Women of Influence Luncheon. This year’s keynote speaker is Justice Marilyn Kite who will discuss her rise to the top, serving as the first female Chief Justice on the Wyoming Supreme Court (2010-2014).
