Warehouse Twenty One named one of America’s fastest-growing private companies, commits to Cheyenne
Inc. magazine announced Warehouse Twenty One (W21) as one of the nation’s fastest-growing companies in its 36th annual Inc. 5000, which ranks private companies from across the nation based on growth over the last three years. With 249 percent growth over the last three years, W21 was ranked in the top third of the companies that made the list.
The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment— independent, small, and midsized businesses. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known companies gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000 list.
“This Inc. 5000 announcement comes at an exciting time, as we have been evaluating locations for the long-term home for the future of Warehouse Twenty One. After a lot of research and planning, we are thrilled to announce we have decided to commit to Cheyenne’s West Edge for our expansion plans,” said Dean Dexter, Board Chairman of W21.
The two owners of Warehouse Twenty One, Dexter and Dave Teubner (CEO), have researched several communities in the last two years to decide the best location for building a new state of the art co-located facility for the company’s future as a premier advertising and event firm—Cheyenne included. They were looking for a place that holds the passions of W21 employees and the business, including community vibe, business development friendliness, and the costs of expansion.
Dexter and Teubner added that they acknowledge the challenges facing the West Edge project, but they want W21 to grow in Cheyenne regardless of the disputes. Between a growing employee base and developing a new building, W21 will continue to contribute and support the vision and are committed to moving forward.
“We love Cheyenne and the West Edge, which is why we have chosen to stay here,” Teubner said. “We are truly honored by the recognition from Inc. 5000, but what we are most proud of are the people at Warehouse that make this thing go. We are blessed to have experienced this growth with our clients, but are entering a two-year period of deliberate stabilization to focus on a new building, improved processes, and quality,” Teubner added.
