Environmental Protection Agency Reveals New Wyoming Leader

The shift in leadership across numerous federal agencies has been making waves in the news, and one Wyoming resident has recently earned an esteemed appointment. Cyrus M. Western, a former member of the Wyoming State House of Representatives, has been named the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 8 Administrator. In this role, Western will oversee six western states, including Wyoming, and 28 federally recognized tribes.
WY We Care: Having an experienced and qualified individual from our very own state leading the EPA ensures Wyoming will have the representation it deserves.
