Cheney Speaks to 250+ in Cheyenne
Cheney calls deploying U.S. servicemembers into battle without the tools they need to win “an immoral situation.”
U.S. Representative Liz Cheney (Wyoming-R) spoke to over 250 Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce business partners in Cheyenne on October 6th presented by Visit Cheyenne. In her speech, Cheney addressed Tax Reform, Healthcare Reform and military awareness.
“When we ask men and women to go fight for us, we have to know every single time that they have better equipment, better resources, better technology than any enemy they might have to face. We are not at that point today.” Liz Cheney, U. S. Representative – Wyoming.
Congressman Cheney serves on the Armed Services Committee and speaking with Partners of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce today affirmed her resolve to continue to fight in Washington for the needs of F.E. Warren Air Force Base, local military and the people of Cheyenne and Wyoming. Cheney also expressed her pride regarding the cooperation of Senators Enzi and Barrasso. She further identified that Wyoming is unlike most States because of their collaborations.
Cheney also relayed that there is room for Tax Reform among bi-partisan members to actually help the middle-class. The new reform would change the current seven-tier tax bracket to a three tier bracket and lower corporate tax to 20%.
“This Tax Reform bill proposed explained by Representative Cheney would most certainly help our community.” Dale Steenbergen, President/CEO of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce.
