“Wyoming” is because of the people

What makes Cheyenne, Wyoming and the State of Wyoming unique is the people.

RE/MAX Capitol Properties premiered an online video series featuring Cheyenne locals explaining “Why Cheyenne?” Throughout each video it is clear that community members firmly believe in one another and they value civic trusteeship. With over 100 produced videos there is a clear theme: Cheyenne is a great community because of the people.

“We believe Cheyenne is a hidden gem, so we wanted to share the good news with the rest of the world with real people giving their, ‘Why Cheyenne,'” shared Stephanie Prescott, RE/MAX Capitol Properties Development Director/Owner.

Recently the State of Wyoming ENDOW initiative also released a video featuring the same theme, that Wyoming is unique because of the people who reside within its borders. Featured in the video are committee members of this particular group tasked with diversifying the State’s economy, along with Governor Matt Mead.

The State of Wyoming Office of Tourism launched a campaign recently focused as well on this same aspect which has been celebrated by local businesses and community members called #ThatsWY. The tagline was also used in the ENDOW video. This goes to show you that the State of Wyoming is grasping onto what the local business professionals of Laramie County have known for years and are proud of sharing, a great community is comprised of great people. Additionally, great people make even better communities!

Laramie County’s, the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, is the largest in the State representing over 1,000 local businesses interests.
