2 Orange Brothers up for Adoption
Do you have room under your Christmas tree for two orange brothers?
Weighing in at 20 pounds and 17 pounds respectively, 8 year old Sonny and Sandy have lived with each other their entire lives. They are looking for a home together, and Black Dog Animal Rescue (BDAR) would love to see that dream come true.
These extra large boys were surrendered to BDAR when their family had to move overseas.

Sonny’s Story
Sandy’s Story
Sonny is the more timid and sensitive of the two, and takes a little more time to warm up than his brother.
Sandy is more sociable right off the bat and helps Sonny feel a little more comfortable.
They both enjoy each other’s company immensely. Their favorite things include being brushed, getting pets and belly rubs from their humans, sleeping in the bed, and spending time outdoors with their people. They have never been allowed to roam without supervision. Neither have been around other animals, but we can certainly test them with dogs and other cats if needed. We know it’s not an easy task taking on two new pets at once, but we also know that Sonny and Sandy will be happiest as a pair, and the boys’ previous owner is offering a fun incentive to whoever adopts them together, and has also sponsored their adoption fees in full!
We are happy to answer any questions you have about these big, sweet boys. You can call us at 307.214.6600 or email us at bdar@bdar.org.
