“Turn the Ship Around” by David Marquet is a best seller leadership book and the workbook associated to the novel is co-authored by Cheyenne resident, Andy Worshek.
Locally, Andy Worshek is a consultant for Align, while providing extensive leadership training all around the globe. He is known for his storytelling and his genuine ability to provide real-life experiences to life.
According to his bio on the Align website, “He began his career as a submarine sonar technician in the United States Navy. He served as the Chief of the Boat on the USS Santa Fe and the USS Cheyenne and also served as the Command Master Chief of the Navy’s overseas computer network.”
The last 3 years, Worshek embarked on a journey where he would leave his Human Resources position at a local accounting firm to pursue public speaking engagements all around the globe for the best selling book, “Turn the Ship Around.” He is also certified to teach teach Intent-Based Leadership™.
Having local talent which has achieved global impact, is an incredible achievement.
