Foundation raises over $40 million for community hospital
“It’s extraordinary to see the look on their faces when they get to do something they didn’t think they’d have the money to do.”-Scott Fox, Executive Director of the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation
The Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation has raised over $40 million dollars since it was founded in 1977. The purpose of the foundation was to help grow the county hospital, which was the Memorial Hospital of Laramie County at the time. The funds raised have helped to bring in much-needed facility upgrades, to include the Davis Hospice Center and the Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center.
Business individuals can have the opportunity to talk with Scott Fox, as well as the rest of the CRMC Foundation team at the Business After Hours event they are hosting on Thursday, February 22nd from 5pm to 7pm. The program is a partnership with the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce and is a way to gather like-minded professionals together in our community. The event is free, open to the business public, and will be hosted at the Foundation house at 408 E. 23rd Street.
