Project Prom Celebrates 12 Years
Project Prom Cheyenne Celebrates its 12th Year of Making Prom Dreams Come True
Prom Store Opened April 7th and will continue through April 28th
Prom season is around the corner and for many young women it starts with ‘the dress’. Project Prom is here to help by offering free dresses to students who provide a valid student ID. This year’s Prom Store is located at 2017 Bluegrass Circle, just off Dell Range Boulevard.
Prom Store hours are Thursday from 3:00-6:00pm and Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm through April 28, 2018. The Prom Store offers gently worn fashionable dresses at no cost, but donations are accepted. Cheyenne’s Project Prom was created by local resident Jean Richardson whose daughter had a closet full of prom dresses that Jean felt could be used by others.
“We’re excited for another year of the Prom Store,” said Richardson. “We want to help young women find that perfect dress and make her prom dreams come true.”
If you would like more information about Project Prom, volunteer opportunities, how you can donate a dress or provide financial support for the project, contact Jean Richardson at HiJean2040@aol.com or visit their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Project-Prom-Cheyenne-508729285856854/
Due to limited space, and to ensure a wonderful shopping experience for all, organizers ask that young ladies shopping for a dress bring only one guest.
