Historic Ranch Tour Series & Celebration of Ranchers
The Old West Museum will being hosting their 2nd annual Historic Ranch Tour Series!
Through a generous partnership with the Marie Jordan Bell Fund and Delta Kappa Gamma, Upsilon Chapter, the CFD Old West Museum is continuing its work to create programs which focus on Western culture and ranch life. Each Ranch Tour will have a trolley ride from the Museum to the ranch, with a presentation on the history of Laramie County Ranches, ranch life, and the ranch’s connection with Cheyenne Frontier Days.
“We live in a modern world where ranch life and agriculture is stull vital,” said Mariah West, CFD Old West Museum Development Director. These Ranch Tours will allow people to understand the role these ranches play in their community.
These tours include a picnic lunch on the ranch property. This summer there will be two ranch tours.
- On Saturday, June 9 from 10am-2pm, we will visit the Y6 Ranch
- On Saturday, August 18 from 10am-2pm, we will visit the Warren Livestock Ranch.
