County Commissioners Committed $600k Towards Air Service
Tuesday the Laramie County Commissioners approved a match of $600k towards commercial air service.
The City Council of Cheyenne recently approved $600k towards the minimum revenue guarantee needs for commercial air service. Now the County will be contributing another $600k. These funds will be in addition to $580k from the State, $200k in Federal funding and $200k from private community investment.
Having a commercial airliner in Cheyenne is a primary focus because there is a new terminal currently being built from an additional tax that was collected. The government agrees with the importance of providing this type of service with the unanimous support from both government bodies, City and County.
