Cheyenne Stampede Hockey donates to CRMC Cancer Center
Cheyenne Stampede Hockey, has donated $3 Thousand to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, Cancer Center.
The donation was accepted by the CRMC Foundation Executive Director, Scott Fox, at a ceremony at the Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center on Thursday morning.
“We can’t think of a better way to begin 2018-2019 Season than with the awarding of such a gift, one that will allow us to continue the tradition of keeping our funds raised during our Cancer Awareness in the local community,” said Mark Lantz, Owner and General Manager of the Stampede.
“We’re proud that 100 percent of the participant fundraising goes directly to CRMC and we need more cancer fighters to continue to grow in order to reach our goal of giving more than $20K to the CRMC Foundation for support of the Cancer Center,” Stampede Owner and GM, Mark Lantz told the team’s website after the presentation of the check. “We’re proud that we passed the mark of giving more than $16K over the past 6 seasons and look forward to seeing that continue to grow.”
“In the new Cheyenne Regional mission, we say ‘our family cares for your family’ and we are proud to have Cheyenne Stampede Hockey as part of ‘our family,’” said Fox. “Thank you to the entire Stampede organization–you inspire great health!”
