Cheyenne Chamber Receives National Distinction
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce received a 5 Star accreditation and is among the top Chambers in the Nation.
This prestigious distinction puts the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce in an elite group of only 116 chambers around the country with this level of recognition. Accreditation provides a level of confidence to Chamber investors emphasizing the chamber’s high level of professionalism creating an organization of excellence

The accreditation process analyzed the chamber for excellence in Governance, Finance, Human Resources, Government Affairs, Program Development, Technology, Communication, Facilities, and Bench-marking. Through the process the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce received a perfect score in 3 of the submitted categories.

Since 1964 the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Accreditation Program has had the participation of 850 Chambers. Currently there are 204 Chambers of Commerce (ranging from 3 to 5 star) with the accreditation distinction with approximately 7,000 Chambers in the United States. The program provides the opportunity to compare progress, leadership and overall performance and compare them to others around the Nation. The program sets the standard for how economic development and governmental affairs entities should function and the 5 star accreditation exemplifies the leading organizations.
The accreditation will last for 5 years and the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce will reapply in 2023.
