After 30 years with The Egg & I, Mike Moriarty, along with his wife and partner, Christy, are excited to announce a new venture – Epic Egg!
Beginning January 7, 2019, they will be re-branding their (current) 3 locations – Cheyenne, Market Square and Willow Station – into a new breakfast, brunch and lunch concept that they are sure all will enjoy. The past 3 decades have been an amazing opportunity for both growth and success, as well as cultivating incredible guest relationships. With Mike’s extensive experience in the restaurant business and Christy’s epicurean passion, they are ready to bring an exceptional AM dining experience to every guest of Epic Egg!
In partnering with local and regional businesses, the Moriarty’s hope to not only support other small businesses, but will be pledging up to 1% of their sales to local food banks and charities, a personal passion of theirs.
This opportunity all came about when, in 2015, The Egg & I franchise company was purchased by a Florida-based concept called First Watch. Along with First Watch’s desire to develop a national chain, they offered the Moriarty’s the option to leave the franchise and re-brand to their own independent concept. Wanting to maintain a local, small business focus, Mike and Christy are excited to return to their roots in community-centered operations.

Our Epic Egg! Management team will include: Jared Mullikin – Cheyenne, Jolene Schulte – Market Square, and Maria Moore – Willow Station. We are proud of the teams we have built in each location, are thrilled for the new epic adventure ahead, and hope you will be too!
