Library Foundation Supports Advancement
The Laramie County Library System is supported by the community and strengthens its financial resources through the work of the Library Foundation.
Hosted by the Laramie County Library Foundation, the Booklover’s Bash is scheduled for Friday, October 19th. It is a sought out event for community members and is a way to support the advancement of the library and its services.
Bruce Thomson, the Director of the Laramie County Library Foundation says libraries are growing in popularity. “Libraries are the modern town square. The Cheyenne, Burns and Pine Bluffs branches and even the Bookmobile have become exciting hubs of activities, information and enjoyment. Everyone loves our libraries. They are a great equalizer. Children, seniors, families, and diverse individuals from every walk of life share, grow and benefit from libraries. Libraries are a great snapshot of democracy in action!”
Laramie County Library is an award winning establishment offering extensive resources and services to county-wide. Attend the Booklover’s Bash to extend support and gratitude and help it remain a strong resource for all.
