City Council Meeting Scheduled for October 3 Regarding Animal Shelter Contract

The Cheyenne City Council will hold a Committee of the Whole meeting on Wednesday, October 3 at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers (2101 O’Neil Ave.). A resolution regarding the termination of the agreement between the City of Cheyenne and the Cheyenne Animal Shelter will be the only item discussed. The meeting is open to the public and public comment will be taken.

A non-binding vote of recommendation from the Committee of the Whole will carry forward to the City Council Meeting on Monday, October 8.

Committee of the Whole facilitates the decision-making process of Council and excludes Mayor participation. The committee is comprised of all members of Council who fully participate in debate and forward recommendations to regularly scheduled City Council Meetings for a final decision.
