Leadership Cheyenne Raises $15K for City of Cheyenne Beautification

0 Leadership Cheyenne 2018 Graduating Class Raised $15,725 for City of Cheyenne Beautification.
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Leadership Cheyenne Graduating Class of 2018 hosted the Boo-tification Ball raising $15,725 toward their project. The class elected to provide the City of Cheyenne funds to add benches to various parks around the community.

Efforts like this showcase our community’s willingness to step up to the plate and contribute to Cheyenne’s beautification and vibrancy. Parks are an amenity enjoyed by all and that’ll continue to be the case thanks to this graduating class.” expressed in a statement from the City of Cheyenne.
The Leadership Cheyenne program has raised over $150k toward beautification projects throughout the City of Cheyenne. Projects like bike racks, art wraps on utility boxes, murals, trees, restoration projects, and many others are a part of the Leadership Cheyenne’s portfolios of contributions. Purchasing and installation of the benches will be coordinated with the City of Cheyenne and will be completed by the Spring of 2019.
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce selects 25-28 participants in the Leadership Cheyenne program annually. These individuals embark on a 9 month journey with peers learning about community and economic development, as well as civic trusteeship.
