Remember, Honor and Teach

On December 10, 2018, at a ceremony held at the Joint Forces Readiness Center, Major General Luke Reiner urged all in attendance to remember, honor and teach. This annual ceremony of Wreaths Across America helped to remember the Gold Star families present; to honor those serving and their absence during the holiday season and to teach future generations that the freedoms enjoyed in this country are not free.

Mr. Steve Kravitsky, Director of Wyoming Veterans Commission, welcomed State of Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Jillian Balow and Wyoming Adjutant General Major General Luke Reiner to assist in the laying of the wreath for today’s ceremony. Each commented on the long standing military support of Wyoming and the continued need for this support in the future.

Superintendent Balow shared how Wyoming leads the way in public instruction to include in their mission that Wyoming students leave high school being college, career and military ready. The event was well attended by military and civilian personnel.
