Shipping For The Holidays

0 Whether gifts are being shipped to the doorsteps of loved ones or awaiting a gift from a retailer to be wrapped for under the tree, deadlines for getting items shipped is approaching.
When purchasing online gifts for the holidays, check with the retailers what they”promise” when getting purchases in time for Christmas. As for getting gifts shipped out, consider going the first few days of this week. Some of the locations has a self-serve station, making the dropping off more timely.
Below are recommended deadlines from USPS for shipping:
- Dec. 18 – APO/FPO/DPO (except ZIP Code 093) USPS Priority Mail Express®
- Dec. 20 – First-Class Mail (including greeting cards)
- Dec. 20 – First-class packages (up to 15.99 ounces)
- Dec. 20 – Hawaii to mainland Priority Mail and First-Class Mail
- Dec. 20 – Priority Mail
- Dec. 20 – Alaska to mainland Priority Mail and First-Class Mail
- Dec. 22 – Alaska to mainland Priority Mail Express
- Dec. 22 – Hawaii to mainland Priority Mail Express
- Dec. 22 – Priority Mail Express
