0 The 2019 Zonta art contest winners were announced on January 17, 2019.
Zonta of Cheyenne sought entries for its fifth annual art contest to raise awareness about human trafficking in the Laramie County area.
“This year’s contest theme is focused on Hope for human trafficking victims. We have spent several years raising awareness about the existence of human trafficking in our community – fighting the perception that it can’t be happening in our own backyard. Now that people are beginning to understand it exists, we want to let the victims of this evil crime know that there is hope for change – hope that the community no longer has a blind eye and hope that we can shine a light to stop the terrible impacts this cruelty has on its victims. To the artists, thank you so much for your submissions this year. Each piece was impactful and helped start the important conversation of Human Trafficking Awareness with all age groups. Be proud of your contribution to this worthy cause.” Kristie Wilson President, Zonta Club of Cheyenne.
Zonta celebrates 100 years by celebrating at their 13th Annual Zonta’s Night Out on March 8, 2091. Click here to learn more and purchase tickets.
