Technology School in Cheyenne Expands

Array School of Technology & Design continues to advance their portfolio to offer more opportunities.

The Array School of Technology & Design was purchased by new owners, Dan & Amy Surdam in 2018. Along with purchasing the school they also acquired the Grier Building at 1601 Central Ave. In result, Array School of Technology & Design will be moving into the 4th floor of the building, outfitting the space with six glass offices with shared working spaces. This will be a change from their first location in the Majestic Building off of Capitol Ave.

Our new programs are going to allow more people than ever before to learn 21st century skills right here in Wyoming.” expressed Eric Trowbridge (E.T.), CEO of Array.

With Cheyenne having a number of military, active duty and veterans, Array School of Technology & Design applied as an educational attainment program which could utilize G.I. Bill Funding. They have since been accepted as a qualifying institution for the benefit. Therefore, students could apply their G.I. Bill Funding toward their education at Array. To continue to grow their programming, they will soon offer in the spring part-time evening and weekend programs. This will be a great resource for those who have a specific area of interest when it comes to their computer science education. Adding to the convenience and improved access to computer science education, online classes will also be offered.

In coming months as well, the building will hopefully be fully occupied. Including the talks of an anchor restaurant on the main floor, first announced as Dillenger’s. The building will no longer have vacant spaces but be an even more vibrant economic hub in downtown Cheyenne.
