Martin Gilmore Trio Kicks Off Happy Hour Music Series at Laramie County Library
On March 29 at 5:30 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room, Laramie County Library will launch its Happy Hour music series with a performance by the Martin Gilmore Trio.
The band’s sound is a unique take on American music that incorporates components of bluegrass, country, folk, jazz, and blues. The two hour show will have beer for purchase with a valid ID.
As founder of the group, Martin Gilmore has played in Canada, Ireland, Europe, and Africa, and has toured venues across the United States. He has performed with notable groups such as the Infamous Stringdusters, The Nashville Bluegrass Band, and members of Hot Rize and Uncle Earl. His skills as a multi-instrumentalist are evident in the unique and adept sound he brings to the stage when performing with his trio.
The Martin Gilmore Trio is the first in a three part series of concerts at Laramie County Library, and they are excited to help us kick off our inaugural Happy Hour by bringing lyrics to the library and songs to our stacks.
