Music Festival Announced in Carpenter, Wyoming
A crew of the region’s finest has united to bring a vibrant independent music festival back to the Front Range this summer over the July 4th weekend: COMPOUND SOUND.
Located on a private ranch near Carpenter, Wyoming, Compound Sound will bring some of the best talent in the region and nation to the prairie for three days of music, camping and vibes. The festival will feature over 40 acts playing more than 40 hours of music on two stages from July 4th through July 6th.
Headliners include internationally-touring bass and electronic artists SoDown, Jantsen, Govinda, as well as the hip-hop duo Top Flite Empire. The offering for the rock and jamband fans includes nationally-touring heavyweight Eminence Ensemble, Dr. Fameus (Allen Aucoin of The Disco Biscuits), as well as many other local and national bands. Add in Kruza Kid, local heroes Y-O, Onwuka, and The Woodpile to help spread love in the many forms of music.
Three-Day General Admission passes cost $75 in advance.
Compound Sound will feature nearly constant music on two stages, a silent disco, music, food trucks and vendors, yoga and flow workshops, a healing village, slip n slide, art installations, and many more engaging features. A third wave of artists will be announced in April and a surprise in May.
The Compound Sound location has been a haven for music festivals for nearly a decade.
“Since 2009 when we first set-up a stage and brought a PA system out to the prairie, we’ve known that something very unique and magical occurs on these grounds,” said Matt Schulz of Intimate Infinite, the festival’s co-founder and promoter. “Here in 2019, we are investing heavily to bring top-notch talent to the musically-hungry community and we couldn’t be more excited to share it! Freedom, intimate connection to both nature and mankind alike, and high-end production are some of the marvels you can expect to appreciate at Compound Sound; it is unlike any other event in the world.”
