Week-long Small Business National Celebration
Small business are the engines behind innovation, job creation and a community’s economic stability! They play a vital role in our economy both locally and nationally. Nationally there are 27.9 million small businesses and they account for 60-80% U.S. jobs annually. More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year according to the SBA. Additionally, a study by Paychex stated that small businesses produce 13 times more patents than larger firms. Their impact is anything but small. That is why it is a proclaimed week-long celebration for Small Businesses (a day is just not enough).
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce took a moment to state, “Thank you to all of the entrepreneurs and business owners who took the risk in having a small business! Your economic impact is gigantic and we recognize that wholeheartedly. That is why we come to work each day to support you!
We want to create a economic climate where any-sized business can flourish and make a lasting positive environment for all to do business for years to come. We couldn’t do any of this without the businesses, entrepreneurs, risk-takers, business professionals and community influential leaders, in which we are comprised of, so thank you!”
