Shots Fired During Vehicle Pursuit

Driver of the stolen vehicle sustained two gunshot wounds.

The Cheyenne Police Department responded to assist Wyoming Highway Patrol in a pursuit of a stolen vehicle that ended with the suspect vehicle crashing in the 2300 blk of E. Pershing Blvd. Friday, May 3rd at 6:30 p.m.

During the pursuit there was an exchange of gun fire between the driver of the vehicle and law enforcement officers. The man driving the stolen vehicle sustained two gunshot wounds and was transported to CRMC.

No law enforcement officers were injured during this incident. This case remains under investigation by Wyoming DCI.
