Class of 2018-2019 Wraps Up Successful year with Graduation at Chamber Luncheon
The Leadership Cheyenne Class of 2018-2019 wrapped up their year-long program with a graduation ceremony at the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Monthly Luncheon Friday afternoon. In all, 26 participants completed the program this year, the 33rd graduating class of the Leadership Cheyenne program. Following the graduation ceremony and plaque presentation, Eric Ruckle from Elevate Wyoming addressed the class and those in attendance.
“Leadership Cheyenne has fostered life-long relationships and an understanding of the history, culture, determination, pride, and vision that built and continues to define this great community. Leadership Cheyenne has proven invaluable to me and I recommend it to everyone!”
– Chris Allred, VP Commercial Lending, Security First Bank and member of the 2018-2019 class
Leadership Cheyenne participants are selected by the Leadership Cheyenne Steering Committee through an application process. Once selected, each participant is challenged with planning a class on a particular topic and develop a new level of understanding and a greater appreciation of their community.
“This is such a valuable and worthwhile program, you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a platform to make lifelong friends, this is it. If you are wanting to help an employee blossom, this is it. If you are wanting to become re-inspired by your community, then I would strongly encourage you to apply for this program,” said Steering Committee Chair Morgan Alkire
Applications are currently being accepted by the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce for the 2019-2020 Class. The deadline to apply is on Friday, June 14th. More information is available at CheyenneChamber.org.
