“This Is Me” podcast is Cheyenne’s first professional podcast formerly known as “Diamond in the Rough.”
The podcast was established by Brandi Nash and Samantha Kanish in September of 2018. In the first season the stories of a variety of women was revealed to empower women to change the world. The foundation of the podcast is sharing each woman’s individual story to enlighten one another and translate struggles into powerful stories.
On Friday, July 19th, the Podcast hosted a party with Season One guests and listeners in attendance. During the party Brandi Nash revealed her Season Two Co-Host, Amie Siemens. She was the last woman to be interviewed during Season One and her story was most certainly inspiring. Amie is a local entrepreneur with her photography business, Amie Lou Photography and her story talked about getting acclimated to a new community, as well as her journey to building a better self-esteem. She has seen the podcast as both an interviewee and interviewer, making her a great resource for future guests as a co-host.
Also announced was the new brand of the local podcast. They changed the name to “This Is Me” because the stories
will continue to focus on individual stories and will enrich lives through the celebration of individuality of local women. Next season will begin in August of 2019 and access to episodes will be available here on ShortGo.co but also on their newly launched website.
