Second Cattle Drive of CFD at Post Malone Concert
Cheyenne Frontier Days welcomed Post Malone to Frontier Park last night. The artist set a new record this year for the most tickets sold in one day.
The crowds at Post Malone resembled that of the annual Cheyenne Frontier Days Cattle Drive last night. CFD night shows primarily consist of top ranking country artists; however, last night a top ranking pop artist took the stage. Crowds began gathering around 3:00 p.m. for the highly anticipated performance of Post Malone and poured through the stadium as the gates were opened. Officials asked guests to arrive at least two hours early to clear security and enjoy the night.
“We are pleased to be able to bring visitors to Cheyenne who may not have attended Cheyenne Frontier Days before,” said General Chairman Jimmy Dean Siler.”
Post’s debut studio album Stoney (2016) peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200, and was eventually certified triple platinum. Post’s second album beerbongs & bentleys (2018) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and broke several streaming records upon release. As of 2019, Post has sold 60 million records in the US.
