CFD Night Show Attendance Increases while Rodeo Decreases
Cheyenne Frontier Days officials say while attendance at the 2019 CFD night shows increased, rodeo attendance showed a slight drop.
This year, the 2019 Cheyenne Frontier Days experienced an overall increase in attendance from 2018 – CFD reports this is mostly due to an increase in night show attendance.
Total night show attendance was 120,518, compared to 115,214 last year, a 4.4% increase. Rodeo attendance experienced around a 4.2% drop this year. Rodeo attendance was estimated to be around 97,373 compared to an official attendance of 101,462 in 2018. Other attendance includes an estimated 90, 000 attending the four Grand Parades, this is only an estimate because no ticket sales are issued to track attendance.
The official attendance for the 2019 CFD pancake breakfasts by Kiwanis was around at 22,713 for the three days. The Indian Village had 50,998 in attendance.
