Vitalant (formerly United Blood Services) kicked off their annual Battle of the Badges community blood drive this week. This blood drive is a 5-day event, held from Tuesday, Aug 13 – Saturday, Aug 17. Each donor will not only be saving lives, but will be able to show their appreciation for first responders by voting for the department of their choosing (Fire, Police, Sheriff, EMS). The department with the most votes wins and will be recognized. Additionally, each donor will receive a free t-shirt and voucher cards from local food organizations while supplies last.

- Tuesday, Aug 13: Cheyenne Vitalant Donation Center | 112 E 8th Ave | 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug 14 and Thursday, Aug 15: Cheyenne Public Safety Center | 415 W 18th St | 1:30 – 5:30 p.m.
- Friday, Aug 16 and Saturday, Aug 17: Cheyenne Vitalant Donation Center | 112 E 8th Ave | 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
