Two Arrested in Aggravated Assault, Robbery
The Cheyenne Police Department has arrested Bryanna Salinas, 27, of Cheyenne, and Scott Jackson, 33, of Cheyenne for an aggravated assault and robbery which occurred on October 16.
Police were called to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center where Britnee Gilmore was receiving treatment for a broken finger, multiple abrasions and bruising. Gilmore reported she’d been assaulted by Salinas and Jackson at Jackson’s residence in the 1200 block of Richardson Ct.
CPD investigators determined that Salinas and Gilmore had been arguing over drugs when Salinas struck Gilmore multiple times with a curtain rod while Jackson was kicking Gilmore. In the course of this, Salinas stole Gilmore’s keys and Jackson stole her phone. As Gilmore attempted to leave, Salinas and Jackson broke into Gilmore’s vehicle, stealing items from the vehicle.
Salinas was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault with injury, robbery with injury, burglary, felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana- both of which were within a school zone. Jackson was arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery with serious injury, burglary and aggravated assault with injury. This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
