Downtown Christmas Festivities & Shop Small Take 2
The Cheyenne Christmas Parade was postponed to Saturday, December 7th as well as other special festivities!
The Plains Hotel will be abuzz this Saturday with community caroling, hot chocolate and cookies, Santa, and the holiday Chari-Trees on display! Activities begin at 10 am with Santa and caroling, bring the whole family, even fur babies, and enjoy free photos with Mr. Claus! Also, come view the Chari-Trees at the Historic Plains Hotel. Decorated by a variety of community organizations, these Christmas trees will be available for viewing and bidding in the lobby of the hotel.
A variety of the small businesses in Cheyenne will be hosting special for “Shop Small Take 2.” Shop Small Business Saturday shoppers had challenges when getting to retailers and restaurants because of the weather and a variety of these businesses still wanted to offer their specials, deals and reveals! WyoMusic will be doing a drawing for a guitar, The Plains Hotel will be offering Small Plate Specials that include a croissant chicken salad sandwich with a cup of soup for $9.99 and a variety of others will be honoring their Shop Small Business Saturday offerings. Wyoming Home is always offering great gifts and home decor throughout the holiday season but will be hosting a Snowy Elk Coffee pop-up, as well as offering 30% off store-wide unless otherwise marked or consigned.
Shoppers will be able to end the day on Saturday, December 7th with watching the 29th Annual Cheyenne Christmas Parade presented by Spradley Barr Motors and can even take advantage of the great holiday room rate, $69 a night, at The Plains Hotel to stay in the area.
