Access Business Training Live on Facebook
Today’s society lives in an age where information is accessible at their fingertips.
Technology has allowed us to connect in new ways and the most recent advancement. With “Live” feeds via Facebook and Instagram allows for a new platform to better share knowledge and information. The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce proudly launched 22@Noon. A training opportunity for the business public via Facebook Live. Today’s series started with President/CEO, Dale Steenbergen discussing workforce retention and overall area trends. The “Value of a Trained Workforce” is comprised of 5 presenters ranging from topics on how to retrieve funding for training, resources for employees and more.
Businesses are also needing to spend time on their personal operations day to day. Therefore, getting out in the community and on-sight for training can be difficult. The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is having these 22@Noon Seminars to bring the training to the businesses at their convenience.
“Visiting with businesses each day provides us with insight on what employers seek for their employees. We hear from businesses not only about needed training opportunities but the need to better understand the business culture of our community.” shared Director of Partner Services of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, Angi Lund.
The next 22@Noon event will be on September 6th and feature Mike Henke. The topic will dive into more specific tactics on how best to retain employees. Tune in by visiting the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page.
