An Opportunity to Strengthen Wyoming’s Manufacturing Workforce

The Empower to Grow (E2G) Manufacturing in America Grant offers a chance for trade and professional associations, small businesses, and educational institutions to make a positive difference in our growing workforce needs. This grant is one solution offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration to combat the workforce shortage in manufacturing that we’re seeing across the country.
Are you eligible? To be qualified to apply for the E2G Grant, you must meet a few pieces of criteria. The SBA is looking to grant these funds to organizations that are well suited to provide technical proficiency and essential skills, from workplace safety to operating machinery. If you meet the criteria below, you are eligible to apply:
-
Be a for-profit or not-for-profit entity (including, but not limited to, small businesses, other-than small businesses, trade and professional associations, and educational institutions)
-
Be in existence continually for at least the past three years
-
Demonstrate experience providing hands-on manufacturing-related training and technical assistance to small businesses
Proposal submissions are due electronically by May 27, 2025 no later than 11:59 p.m. ET.
WY it Matters: Here in Wyoming, we fully recognize the workforce shortage challenge, and your Wyoming Chamber is actively working to tackle it head-on. We applaud the SBA for their targeted efforts to close the manufacturing skills gap we’ve observed, and we strongly encourage all eligible organizations across our state to seize this opportunity and apply.
