The Cheyenne Police Department has arrested Shawn Duffy, 27, of Cheyenne for an armed robbery which took place at US Bank (1437 Prairie Ave.) on October 15.
At about 9:15 p.m.., a patron of the bank was making a business deposit when she was confronted by Duffy who displayed a firearm and demanded money. Cheyenne Police Department Officers responded and deployed a K9 who successfully tracked Duffy to a nearby field. Duffy was arrested on suspicion of the armed robbery, misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine, and an unrelated Laramie County District Court warrant. This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
