Array Alum Recieves $5k Towards Startup
An Array School of Technology & Design Alum won 2nd Place in the University of Wyoming John P. EllBogen Entrepreneur Competition.
The Array School of Technology & Design, located in downtown Cheyenne, has created a new wave of business professionals in the local workforce and has empowered entrepreneurs. Graciella Tena de lara started at the school to gain the skills necessary for a business idea. The concept evolved into a formal business plan which was submitted to the University of Wyoming’s Ellbogen $50k entrepreneur competition.
According to the University of Wyoming the competition is “designed to encourage students in the UW community to act on their talents, ideas, and energy to produce tomorrow’s leading businesses.”
During the competition Graciella Tena de lara received 2nd place and $5k towards to executing the business concept. The caliber of the business plans presented during the competition were top notch. The first place winner, IOThermal, had been testing their product for the past 3 years. The funds received for the first place winner will help bring their product officially to market.
