C.J. Box Book Reading & Signing
Laramie County Library hosts C.J. Box for book signing on August 20th.
On August 20th at 7:00 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room, Laramie County Library will host #1 New York Times best-selling author and Wyoming native C.J. Box for a presentation of his newly released novel, The Bitteroots. Box will read a portion of his novel for the audience and participate in a Q&A before signing books. Copies of The Bitteroots will be available for purchase during the event, courtesy of Barnes & Noble. It is recommended that attendees bring their purchased copy to the event rather than waiting to purchase it there. Inventory is limited.
The stand-alone novel follows former sheriff investigator Cassie Dewell as she works her way through a suspicious and supposed crime in Montana. The Bitteroots has already been lauded by national publications such as The Washington Post where it made the Best Summer Thrillers list. Kirkus Reviews states that “An appealing new heroine, a fast-moving plot, and a memorably nightmarish family make this one of Box’s best,” and The Real Book Spy writes that the book is, “Expertly plotted and filled with nonstop suspense.” This is Box’s fourth novel featuring the female protagonist.
The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for the free event. The presentation and signing are both open to the public.
