Chamber V.P. Earns International Designation
Continued professional development strengthens the performance of organizations and communities.
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce prides themselves on providing high level professional development to employees and to community professionals. Institute is a leading program for Chamber and Association professionals. With the completion of this program the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce now has two professionals who have earned their IOM designation.
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Vice President, Stephanie Joy Meisner-Maggard, earned her IOM Designation. This is accomplished by attending the Institute for Organization Management, a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, comprised of four week-long sessions, a week per year. University professors, industry experts and leading practitioners deliver the professional development curriculum. Topics focus on leadership, community and economic development, best practices, governance, and much more.
Stephanie began her journey in 2014 and graduated from the program Saturday, January 6th, 2018.
She expressed, “This program has elevated my understanding of how to best achieve excellence for my community. I look forward to advancing our organization to best serve the region. I truly appreciate having the opportunity to receive further education to do so.”
