Charitable Birthday Wish Benefits COMEA Shelter

Heather Coughenour’s charitable birthday wish provided backpacks full of items to the COMEA Shelter.

Heather Coughenour of Peak Wellness Center decided to do something different for her birthday this year. With help from her husband, Michael, they created a Facebook post requesting friends and family gather backpacks full of household items and non-perishable foods to donate to the COMEA Shelter of Cheyenne.

Michael met 13 other members of the community in the Depot Plaza plaza this morning – each carrying a large backpack full of goodies ready to take to the shelter.

The COMEA Shelter is an emergency homeless shelter for anyone who finds themselves homeless. They operate on the belief that assistance should be available to anyone in need.
