Cheyenne Christmas Parade Details
Cheyenne Christmas Parade presented by Spradley Barr Motors is around the corner.
Include the Cheyenne Christmas Parade in holiday plans following Thanksgiving because it is truly a cherished community tradition which lifts up holiday spirits!
In 1990 the first Cheyenne Christmas Parade adored downtown with lit up floats. Each year it has grown to be a larger event. This year’s parade is on Saturday, November 24th at 5:30 p.m. in Downtown Cheyenne. The route is up Carey Ave. and down Capitol Ave. Festivities will continue following the parade in the Cheyenne Depot Plaza with a City of Cheyenne Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony conducted by Mayor Orr and Santa Claus, along with a special ribbon cutting launching the ice rink in the plaza for the holiday season.
“I remember being just a little person, born and raised here in Cheyenne and my parents would bundle me all up and take me to the Cheyenne Christmas Parade every single year. When I couldn’t even walk, I would watch the parade on my parent’s shoulders.” expressed Dr. Danielle Jensen-Ryan, Director of Annual Giving & Grants at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation & Cheyenne Christmas Parade Committee Member.
Take advantage of all of the extraordinary festivities happening on Saturday, November 24th all throughout Cheyenne. Visit local businesses for Shop Small Business Saturday, stop into local crafts shows and find your way to the Cheyenne Christmas Parade to enjoy this incredible evening of lights and vibrancy, and engage in the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa.
