Cheyenne Frontier Days Opening Day
Cheyenne Frontier Days was first started by the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce. What a better way than to kick it off with the founding organization?
Friday, July 20th is the Cheyenne Frontier Days opening day and the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is starting the festivities with a special ribbon cutting with their Red Carpet Committee at the CFD Grounds followed by the Pardners N’ Prosperity luncheon presented by RE/MAX Capitol Properties. This event is filled with life and focused on celebrating the real ranchers and farmers who created this community and continue to add to its economic vibrancy.
Following the luncheon is a unique opening day at Frontier Park. During the opening hours of the Daddy of ’em All the price is only $25 per person. This wrangle in some fun-day-of access to unlimited carnival rides, $2 menu items at concessions on the park and so much more.
Live entertainment will be in the park as well, featuring:

- Kennie Word
- Romero
- Savanna Chestnut
- Double Wide
Lastly, there will be a featured Wild West Show from 2-3 p.m. fir the first time featuring CFD history and pageantry, cavalry, horse-drawn artillery demo, antique automobiles, carriages, trick riding, trick ropers and ladies ranch bronc riding and more!
With the ribbon-cutting ceremony to kick off the 122nd Daddy of ‘em All at 10:30 a.m. an additional benefit to being early is the chance to win! The first 100 people through the front gate will receive a free carnival armband for later in the week. These activities and all-inclusive price are available on Friday, July 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. only.
