Cinch Rodeo Shoot-Out Discontinues

CEO of Cheyenne Frontier Days recently announced that the Cinch Rodeo Shoot-out will not take place this year in Cheyenne.

The Shoot-out’s first year was in 2014. The rodeo included 5 events in just one afternoon, awarding the champions in the same day. Cinch Rodeo Shoot-out tour locations are determined annually around the Nation and Cheyenne was not determined as a destination for 2018.

Cheyenne Frontier Days is seeing this as an opportunity. CEO of Cheyenne Frontier Days, Tom Hirsig shared recently that they wanted to put the “Cheyenne” back in Cheyenne Frontier Days. In the future you will see the organization working towards more community ties and business engagement throughout the 10 day rodeo.
