col·lec·tive, noun: Wyoming creatives doing really cool things
West Edge Collective Breaks Ground at 709 W. Lincolnway
West Edge Collective, State of Wyoming, City of Cheyenne, VFLA, Reiman Corp, Four Quarters Excavating and Jonah Bank collectively working toward the one goal of providing a new location for West Edge Collective.
West Edge Collective’s newest venture has promise of being one of the most creative work spaces in Wyoming. Incorporating repurposed steel bridge beams from various bridges in Wyoming and used 40’ shipping containers immediately places the design in the category of forward thinking. However, West Edge owns the category of “cool” with a centerpiece lighting fixture made from a 1964 Chevy Corvair van (aka “The Vandelier”).
Chad Willett cast a great vision of how this new venture will greatly aid to bridge Cheyenne’s creative and tech companies. Currently we are hearing from every entity, “We need to diversify.” This is the current mantra of the State, City and even the 64th Legislature. It’s not only government levels who are saying this but also our business community. Today, while others are still talking, West Edge Collective is moving dirt and making it happen.
