The artist community in Cheyenne is strong.
A small group of volunteers last year organized a concert series in the Lions Park. The series was called “Sunday Sounds in the Park” and was a partnership with the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, Arts Cheyenne and funded by local sponsors. Concerts began in August and concluded in late September and consisted of 5 concerts. Additionally at the event the volunteers assisted in beer sales and welcomed food vendors.
Motivated individuals who are interested in a more culturally diverse Cheyenne is invited to meet with past volunteers at Freedom’s Edge Brewery tonight, June 22nd at 5:15 p.m. All are welcome who are interested in getting involved and wanting to learn more.
