Congressman Cheney Shares Message From President Trump During CFD Kick-off

Cheyenne Frontier Days festivities kicked off this afternoon at the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Pardner’s N’ Prosperity Luncheon Presented by RE/MAX Capitol Properties.

The event was held at the CFD Old West Museum and featured presentations from Governor Mark Gordon, Senator John Barrasso, Congresswoman Liz Cheney, Commissioner Linda Heath,  Mayor Marian Orr and many other primary dignitaries of Wyoming, Laramie County and the City of Cheyenne. There were also special military dignitaries in attendance including that of 20th Air Force, Air Force Global Strike Command, Major General Stoss, 90th Air Force Base Wing Commander Col. Pete Bonetti and members of the USS Cheyenne and USS Wyoming. Featured also were the Wyoming Stock Growers Association with King Ranch owner and Operator, Mark Eisele, as well as Rudy Nesvik, a State FFA Officer.

During the presentation, Congresswoman Cheney shared a personalized letter from President Donald Trump, given to her in Washington DC. The letter was intended for the State of Wyoming and recognized the heritage and significance of the State.

With a capacity crowd outside the CFD Old West Museum, community members in attendance were also treated to live music, alpacas, giveaways, and swag bags from a variety of sponsors. The annual Chamber event marks the official kickoff to Cheyenne Frontier Days.
