County Commissioners Aim to Educate Voters

County Commissioner Buck Holmes shared over the weekend, “We had the privilege of being at the Home & Garden Show this weekend to visit with community members. We have seen a lot of interest from all ages and on all portions of the 6th Penny Ballot.”
The City of Cheyenne, Town of Albin, Town of Burns, Town of Pine Bluffs and the Laramie County Board of Commissioners have agreed to a list of projects proposed for funding with a one percent (1%) Specific Purpose Sales and Use Tax creating the ballot comprised of 9 total propositions. The election for the 6th Penny Tax will be held on May 2nd. Early voting has already began at the Laramie County Atrium of the Laramie County Governmental Complex, 309 W. 20th St.. Polls are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. Learn more about VOTING.
